We have joined forces with Japanese developer, WaiS Co Ltd to bring back the classic naval battle game for all Nintendo gamers to enjoy, with the upcoming release of Sea Battle!

Hidden in the untamed ocean awaits an enemy ready to attack. Launch strikes and counter-strikes with missiles and powerful torpedoes to locate and submerge your enemy’s entire fleet. Use new, bonus items such as scanners to gain intelligence and detect the location of your enemy. Challenge your friends to battles against your fleet with DS Wireless Play to see who really rules the seas or tackle missions and battles on your own in three different single player modes. Your only hope of survival is to uncover your enemy’s whereabouts before they uncover yours!

And the winner for Hidden Gem of the Year (Downloads) 2012 goes to…CANDLE ROUTE!

Our little fiery friend, Sparky has made a big impression on the DSiWare world, with Wiiloveit.com announcing in their latest Best of Nintendo Awards for 2012, Candle Route as winner of the category Hidden Gem of the Year (Downloads)!

Reviews for the Spell-binding title, Wizard Defenders

Towards the end of last year, the collaborated title with Japanese developer, FunUnit, was released to US and European markets. Wizard Defenders brought with it a combination of tower defense and match-3 game play for all Nintendo DS enthusiasts to enjoy.

And we weren’t wrong there…

With our critics and fans all contributing to the latest discussion of how the game fared, we decided to sum up some of their opinions.

The team at Family Friendly Gaming, titled Wizard Defenders as an “interesting mixing of genres that can reach a wide array of gamers” giving a 90% rate for the game play, 74% for their ‘family friendly factor’ and an overall summed up score of 82 points.

Darkain Arts Gamers were also pleased with the game citing Wizard Defenders and its gameplay as ”fresh and enjoyable”  which “looks and sounds great”. The overall score given was 7/10.

On NintendoLife.com, members gave their own account of their experiences playing the game. ‘Nintendojuenger’ hailed the game as “worth the 200 points” while ‘BakaKnight’ also added that for its price it is a game that “can give few hours of fun”.

Overall, Wizard Defenders left a good impression as a challenging and fun game for everyone!
