The new rendition of the classic paper and pencil game battleship, Sea Battle is already available on Nintendo DSiWare and Nintendo eShop for some time now. Here is a summary of what some reviewers have had to say about the title!

The team at Pure Nintendo pointed out that “Sea Battle accomplishes what it set out to do by translating an iconic game into the digital realm and offering it for a scant 200 points ($1.99). At such a low price, this download isn’t hard to recommend – you’ll get your money’s worth.” The game was titles “a solid budget offering” and rated with a 7.

Darkain Arts Gamers were also pleased with the game citing Sea Battle as ”solid in the gameplay, game mechanics and look”. The game got an overall recommendation: “If you enjoy playing the boardgame Battleship you should check this one out” and a score of 7.

What’s Your Tag summed up Sea Battle as “a cheap game that is easy to pick up and play to pass the time” adding that “it takes the classic Battleship formula and adds a little twist with modern mode and a few challenge levels”.

But the most positive opinion was from eShop Gurus which wrote about Sea Battle that “it stands on its own very well as a good electronic Battleship game. (…) For someone looking for a good Battleship game, I give this my full recommendation!”

Reviews for the Spell-binding title, Wizard Defenders

Towards the end of last year, the collaborated title with Japanese developer, FunUnit, was released to US and European markets. Wizard Defenders brought with it a combination of tower defense and match-3 game play for all Nintendo DS enthusiasts to enjoy.

And we weren’t wrong there…

With our critics and fans all contributing to the latest discussion of how the game fared, we decided to sum up some of their opinions.

The team at Family Friendly Gaming, titled Wizard Defenders as an “interesting mixing of genres that can reach a wide array of gamers” giving a 90% rate for the game play, 74% for their ‘family friendly factor’ and an overall summed up score of 82 points.

Darkain Arts Gamers were also pleased with the game citing Wizard Defenders and its gameplay as ”fresh and enjoyable”  which “looks and sounds great”. The overall score given was 7/10.

On NintendoLife.com, members gave their own account of their experiences playing the game. ‘Nintendojuenger’ hailed the game as “worth the 200 points” while ‘BakaKnight’ also added that for its price it is a game that “can give few hours of fun”.

Overall, Wizard Defenders left a good impression as a challenging and fun game for everyone!

We said Robot Rescue 2 is a logic game for those who wanted something more than what their kid brother could solve. With simple rules but complicated mazes, this was no ordinary puzzle game.

So today we share with you what our critics had to say about the game.

Family Friendly Gaming wrote in their review that Robot Rescue 2 “is a  very solid title that has a lot going for it.(…) I really had a blast playing this little hand held video game. I would love to see this franchise continue in the future”, scoring it 87/100. And with an overall score of 8/10 from Nintendo World Report stating that “Robot Rescue 2 offers great value in a consistent package”, than I guess it’s a winner!
